Have you heard of Ortho-Bionomy? I officially found it in 1988, but I'd been using some of the techniques earlier than that.
I love sharing Ortho-Bionomy with people - both in sessions and in classes. It is such gentle work and yet so profound. It seems like it should be easy to explain but its not. I like to explain it this way:
Ortho-Bionomy, a gentle, clothes-on body therapy, is a wonderful, effective way to access the body’s own resolution to accumulated stress, muscle pain, and much more. The spine and joints are gently moved and held in comfortable positions, stimulating neuromuscular reflexes which melt away tension and allow the body to gently bring itself back to balance.
OR:
ORTHO-BIONOMY taps into the individual pattern, completely acknowledging and affirming the client in the moment. It is non-protocol based allowing you to follow the "preferred posture" and the "ease of motion" presented to you as you work on your client. Gentle and non-invasive, it blends well with other modalities.
I have taught in several states, including Hawaii. I will travel to teach at your work site, community group or other suitable venues. Please feel free to contact me about sessions, presentations, workshops, or two-day seminars.
For over 42 years I was a Research and Development Engineer for a medical manufacturing company, As a retiree I now have more time to spread the word about Ortho-Bionomy!
